Oct 2 - Motts Channel Anchorage, Wrightsville Beach, NC to Sea Path Marina, Wrightsville Beach, NC

Weighed anchor at 8:20 and moved to Sea Path Marina, moored starboard side to at 8:45.  Today was family reunion day.  As mentioned in an earlier post, I grew up in this area and as such have a lot of family fairly close by.  I figured a couple would be able to stop by for a visit and maybe lunch, which is the reason for moving over to the marina.
First "Ma" and a couple of friends stopped by to check out the boat,

but after the Lanier version of the coconut telegraph fired up, a total of 11 showed up for lunch, including my aunt, uncle and a veritable hoard of cousins (1st, 2nd, and 3rds).

We had a great lunch, followed by a tour of the boat.  My sister the doctor showed up around 6:30 to inspect the crew and verify no scurvy or other such sea-going maladies were in evidence, after which we headed out to the Texas Road House for a steak.
